How do you confirm a game has no in-app purchases?
We pull the App Store listing and run an automated classifier on the description, monetization signals, and IAP product list visible in the metadata. Premium titles with no listed in-app purchases are flagged monetization: premium. We re-check daily — if a previously-premium game ships an update that adds IAP, it drops off this list within 24 hours.
Are all of these games free?
No. Most are one-time purchases between $1.99 and $9.99. A small number are genuinely free with no monetization (often passion projects or studio promos). The price tag on each card shows the current US App Store price.
Why isn't [popular game] on the list?
Because it has in-app purchases. Even "cosmetic only" IAP disqualifies a game from this list — we kept the bar strict because that's what people search for.
